Following consultation with Membership, TechOps Working Group participants, and the CoSocial Board, TechOps has made the following recommendation:
TechOps recommends that CoSocial enter into an agreement with Fedihost to take over management of the Mastodon server at https://cosocial.ca according to the terms of the agreement described in the Elbows Up Report.
On the basis of this recommendation, on Friday, December 5, we entered into an agreement to have Fedihost take over the hosting and operation of our Mastodon server.
The migration to Fedihost’s platform is currently scheduled for Wednesday, December 17th.
